Locals said the Church was burnt and completely destroyed after repeated shelling.<\/p>\n<p>Sara Hting Ram, a Chrisitian minister from Seng Hpra village, was detained and interrogated by Burmese Army troops. Other Christian ministers fled the village for fear of arrest following Sara Hting Ram\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n<p>Battles continue to rage between KIA\u2019s 6<sup>th<\/sup> Battalion troops and Burmese Army in Hpakant Township.<\/p>\n<p>An unknown Burmese Army unit attacked KIA positions in Sut Len Yang on June 21 at 10:40 pm. Sut Leng Yang is located about 10 miles west from Sar Maw on Mandalay-Myitkyina railroad.<\/p>\n<p>KIA\u2019s 6<sup>th<\/sup> Battalion troops fought against an unknown Burmese army unit near Hpakant Twin Bridge on June 20 at 1:30 pm.<\/p>\n<p>A battle took place between KIA\u2019s 6<sup>th<\/sup> Battalion troops and Burmese Army\u2019s 425<sup>th<\/sup> Light Infantry Regiment troops at Gwi Hka on June 18 at 4:20 pm. The battle lasted for about 2 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Fresh fighting over the last week in Hpakant area has caused hundreds of villagers from Sut Ngai, Seng Ja and Awng Len village to flee to nearby safer places. On June 18 alone, 67 IDPs from Nam Ja Hku village arrived in Nam Ya Kachin Baptist Church compound.<\/p>\n<p>In northern Shan State, KIA\u2019s 9<sup>th<\/sup> Battalion troops engaged in a series of battles against Burmese Army\u2019s 99<sup>th<\/sup> Light Infantry Division troops at Jawng kawng Dingsa in Kutkai Township on June 19 at 8:30 am.<\/p>\n<p>TNLA\u2019s 987<sup>th<\/sup> Battalion troops fought against troops under Burmese Army\u2019s 77<sup>th<\/sup> Light Infantry Division at Nam Twe village in Nam San Township on June 20.<\/p>\n<p>Another battle took place between TNLA\u2019s 434<sup>th<\/sup> Battalion and 77<sup>th<\/sup> LID troops at Tar Let village in Nam San Township on June 20.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An RPG fired by Burmese Army\u2019s 421st Light Infantry Battalion troops on June 19 hit a Christian Church at Seng Hpra village in Hpakant Township.
