KIA’s 4th Battalion troops clashed with SAC troops near 16-Mile in Njang Yang township on Nov 17 at 11:30 a.m. KIA sources said they encountered SAC troops near 16-Mile while investigating a bomb blast. No casualties have been reported from either side.
KIA’s 44th Battalion troops clashed with SAC troops near Nam Ya in Hpakant township on Nov 16 at 12:20 p.m. SAC troops were traveling from their base in Nam Ya towards Woi Bum when they encountered KIA troops.
