Nam Gut and Ying Ngaw villagers forced to server as guides and porters

In Kutkai township, 4 Nam Gut villagers and 3 Ying Ngaw villagers were taken by TNLA troops to serve as guides and porters on Sept 30.

In Theinni township, a 19-year-old girl and two teenage boys were wounded by stray bullets during a battle in Man Ping village on Sept 29. They were later taken to Lashio General Hospital.

A school, 4 Kachin houses, a Chinese house and a car were hit by mortar shells in Man Ping village.

TNLA troops also detained 4 militiamen from Kawng Hka Pyithutsits.

About 200 villagers who had fled to churches and monasteries in Theinni following battles between TNLA and BA troops returned to their homes on Oct 1.
