A local source said Burmese army soldiers who arrested and killed Lasham Tu Nan on Jan 22 are from 68th Light Infantry Battalion led by Maj. Win Tun.
68th LIB troops informed Maw Han village administer that they could come and collect the body of Lasham Tu Nan on Jan 23.

Kachin Baptist ministers and youths from Kutkai Kachin Baptist Church together with Maw Han village went to collect the body of Lasham Tun Nan on Jan 24 at 1 pm.
Another 15-year-old boy, Nawng Ja, is still in the hands of the Burmese army column.

Locals reported they saw Burmese soldiers tied Nawng Ja’s hands and marched around Nawng Hkyu village.
