77th LID Troops Killed 80-year-old Civilian in Hu Sa Village

Burmese army’s 77th Light Infantry Division troops killed an 80-year-old civilian named Alay Ma on Jan 11 at Hai Tawng Hu Sa village in northern Shan State. Alay Ma was wounded from mortar shell shrapnel and died around midnight on Jan 11, reported a local source.

As of Wednesday morning, battles continue to rage between Kachin volunteers under KIA’s 36th Battalion and Burmese army troops under 1st and 16th Military Operation Commands near Loi Lak village in Mungkoe area.
